Proof of concept. Celebrating 25 years of Mario.
I programmed it to recognize my motions and passed the virtual button presses to the NES emulator. I could have placed a simulated keypad right in front of me that I can press with my hands, but I thought full body gestures were more in the spirit of Kinect. Of course, Mario isn't designed to be played like this, so this is really really hard.

I've been playing super mario bros for awhile and I want to know how to get to the cannon. Also what does the cannon do? Does it shoot you to the next level orrrr?

the cannons can only be acessed by finding secret exits and they warp you to another world just as world 2 cannon takes you to world 5.world 4 cannon takes you to world 6 or 7.not levels Worlds.levewls have enemies WORLDS have warp cannons you acess levels from world maps
This is not the real name for this series of videos, but it is my personal name for it.
The literal translated name for 自作の改造マリオ（スーパーマリオワールド）を友人にプレイさせる is "Making my friend play through my own Mario(Super Mario World) hack", hence Kaizo(hack) Mario to the USA.
The original videos were in god awful codecs that were a to convert, so unfortunately the Tool Assisted Speedruns came first to most youtube watchers.
